Brian Hall obtained his B.B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati. He then earned his E.M.B.A. degree from Baldwin-Wallace University, and later attended four years of executive management program at the Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business and received a Certificate in Strategic Planning from Georgetown University.

Hall began working part-time for his family’s company as a child, Industrial Transport, Inc. He became president and CEO four years after college and eventually purchased Industrial Transport Inc. from his father and uncle.

Hall led a joint venture with Applied Industrial Technologies Inc. named iSource Performance Materials. Four years later, he acquired a majority interest in Innogistics, LLC, who’s minority owner was a DHL subsidiary, Exel Logistics.

In 2012, Hall also served as the interim executive director of the Commission on Economic Inclusion which he had previously co-chaired and subsequently joined the senior leadership team at the Greater Cleveland Partnership as a senior vice president.

Hall went on to form 2NorthStar Capital, LLC as he was seeking opportunities to return full time to entrepreneurship. In addition to Specialized Construction, he has interests in other service, manufacturing and real-estate holdings.

Hall has served on various boards throughout his career, including University Hospitals Health System Inc., Fifth Third of Northeast Ohio, the Cleveland Cuyahoga Port Authority, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, the University of Cincinnati Foundation, the Cleveland Water Alliance, the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Board. Hall was named to the Cuyahoga County Economic Development Commission and served as secretary of the Cleveland Rock and Roll Inc. board.

He is most proud of Founding the Tremont School mentoring program in 1990 and being one of the founders of The Presidents’ Council.
